Privacy Policy
Last updated: 1 November 2026
AppTryLoop is operated by Alienzhouse LTD. We help developers test each other’s apps and exchange private feedback. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who receives it, and the choices you have. Contact us at hello@apptryloop.com.
Information we collect
We collect your account name and email address, authentication records, email preferences, app listings, testing activity, feedback, uploaded screenshots, star transactions and purchase records. Our authentication and hosting services also process technical information such as IP addresses, browser information, session cookies and security logs.
Google sign-in data
If you choose Continue with Google, we request only the basic identity scopes openid, email and profile. Google provides an account identifier, your email address and its verification status, and basic profile information such as your name and profile picture when available. We do not request access to your Gmail messages, Google Drive files, contacts, calendars or YouTube data.
We use this information to create or connect your AppTryLoop account, sign you in, maintain your session, identify your account and protect against misuse. Neon Auth manages the Google provider identity and authentication records; AppTryLoop stores your account name and email with your app activity. We do not receive your Google password.
We use your account email for service communications. If you agree to receive AppTryLoop updates, your name and email may also be used for those emails through Hamla, as explained below. We do not sell Google sign-in data, provide it to advertising networks, or use it to train AI models. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements where applicable.
How we use your information
We use account and testing information to show app listings, assign tests, deliver feedback to app owners, review screenshot evidence, award or spend stars, handle purchases and refunds, send account and test notifications, provide support, and investigate abuse or payment problems. Your display name can appear with feedback you submit to an app owner. App listings and the app information you publish are visible to other members; screenshots and written test feedback are shared with the relevant app owner and are not public store reviews.
Service providers and sharing
We use service providers to operate AppTryLoop:
- Neon provides our database and authentication, including social sign-in and verification emails.
- Vercel hosts the website and application and stores uploaded evidence files.
- Hamla processes account names, email addresses, email preferences and relevant app events to deliver AppTryLoop emails and updates. Users who turn off email updates are excluded from new marketing-event delivery.
- Polar handles paid star purchases. It processes the checkout information you provide; AppTryLoop keeps purchase references, amounts and star entitlements. We do not store your full payment-card details.
- OpenAI may process screenshots and written feedback to assist checks of test evidence. Uncertain results can be reviewed by the app owner. Avoid uploading passwords, payment details or unrelated personal information in screenshots.
- Google Fonts serves some website fonts and receives the network information needed to deliver them, such as your IP address and browser information. The Google Sans font used on our sign-in button is hosted by AppTryLoop.
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information when required by law or to investigate abuse, protect accounts, resolve disputes or secure the service. Service providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live.
Cookies and local storage
Authentication cookies keep you signed in and help secure sign-in. Your browser’s local storage saves unfinished test-feedback drafts. Hamla’s website script may process browser and page-interaction information to support in-app messaging and measurement. Browser controls can clear or block storage, but blocking essential cookies can prevent sign-in from working.
Email preferences
You can turn off AppTryLoop email updates in Account settings or use an email’s unsubscribe link. Authentication messages, such as a requested verification code or password-reset email, are handled separately because they are needed to access your account.
Retention and deletion
We retain account and app activity information while it is needed to provide the service. You can request deletion of your account and its personal information by emailing hello@apptryloop.com. We will verify that you own the account before acting. Some transaction, security or dispute records may need to be retained for legal, accounting or fraud-prevention purposes. Backup copies are removed through the relevant provider’s backup lifecycle.
You can remove AppTryLoop’s Google authorization in your Google Account connections. Revoking Google access stops that authorization; it does not by itself delete your AppTryLoop account or its existing app and purchase records. Contact us if you also want those records deleted.
Your privacy requests
To request access to, correction of, a copy of, or deletion of your personal information, contact hello@apptryloop.com from your account email where possible. Available rights depend on applicable law. AppTryLoop is intended for developers and app testers and is not directed at children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.
Changes to this policy
We update this page when our data practices change and revise the date above. We will give notice of material changes through the app or by email when appropriate.
